Session 2 will run from 11:30am until 1pm.
Coffee and biscuits will be available between the sessions.

As nearly everyone attending wanted to take part in both workshops we have moved the two sessions together to make better use of everyone’s time.  
If you only want to attend the ‘Extracting Management Information’ session then simply arrive at 11 – 11:30am and sit in on the second workshop.

Overview:
This session is designed to help existing users of the Sage accounting software range understand how to use the features and functionality of the program that they may not be aware of. This session focuses on how to make the tasks that Sage accounts users do day-to-day easier.

Audience:
Sage 50 Accounts users, but some content will be relevant to Sage Instant users too. 

  • How to get different views of your data in the program
  • Customising screens so they show the information you need
  • Customising data entry screens so they suit your business
  • Dealing with customer refunds and refunds from your suppliers
  • Create price lists for individuals and groups of customers
  • How to use recurring orders and invoices
  • Hints and tips for a successful bank reconciliation

Sage 50 Accounts is now available from the UK’s market leader and introduces a host of exciting new features

  •  Lock data – Use this feature to prevent postings before a specific date.  This will give clients greater control.  
  • Quick search – This feature helps you quickly find records and transactions. Efficiency on Sage Accounts 50 has had a major improvement.
  •  Quick print – You no longer need to select a layout every time you print an invoice, quote or order with this feature.
  •  Support home page – Provides all the key information about your software.
  •  Chart of Accounts improvements – To make it easier to produce your management reports and show profit before and after taxation.
  •  Recovery tools and My data – To support you with fixing any corruption in your data.
  •  Speed upgrade – increase in speed so that in many modules the user isn’t left looking at the green task bar for long amounts of time.

 Make note: Sage 50 will no longer be supporting Sage Accounts 2008 and earlier, so you need to upgrade to get the full support and latest features.

The Sage 50 Mobile app shows:

  •      Project Costing modules (depending on version).
The mobile app itself is free but must be tied to a Sage 50 Accounts desktop host. The Plus and Professional versions support extra functionality on mobile devices, and accountants can set their app up to review and access multiple user accounts.
